Who we are

The Andalusian Institute for Neuroscience (IANEC), previously known as ‘Los Naranjos Clinical Center’, is a private health institution legally formed in 1988. It focus is in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

The underpinning idea that presided over its creation was to not only provide high quality clinical care to patients, their families and caregivers, but also foster a scientific and educational activity of the first order.

IANEC has an interdisciplinary team of professionals working in different areas, such as: diagnosis and treatment of dementia, research, scientific training and teaching of professionals, as well as outreach and awareness for the general population.

At IANEC, we are committed to societal health and collaborate with national and international research centers with the aim of advancing the knowledge of the mechanisms involved in the prevention and treatment of dementia.
