Mission
Provide at all times the best specialized care, in a comprehensive, continuous, personalized and with the highest human, scientific and technical level to those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias and to their families, with the aim of enhancing their personal autonomy, improve their quality of life and promote their social inclusion.
To develop scientific, educational and research projects of excellent quality in neurosciences in general and in the field of dementia in particular, with the aim of facilitating the transfer of its results to clinical practice.
Promote and develop prevention, outreach and social awareness activities in relation to patients with dementia and their relatives, collaborating with the associations that represent them.
Develop a research platform and make it available to researchers of the institute and the scientific community.
Vision
The Vision of IANEC is to achieve that in the future we live in a world without Alzheimer’s disease. To this end, it aims to become a reference center for healthcare, research and teaching at a national and international level in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, thanks to its capacity to develop initiatives with a transforming capacity that contribute to the early diagnosis and treatment of these diseases, so that they revert to the well-being of society as a whole.
